Description
OliveNation creme brulee mix is an easy-to-make, time saving powder that simplifies making a classic dessert. Used by busy professional chefs and bakers as well as home cooks, this powdered ingredient cooks on a stovetop with only half & half and heavy cream to create a fast and delicious custard that is ready to top and caramelize after only two hours of refrigeration. Our ready to make creme brulee powder is made from all-natural ingredients, making it a perfect choice for clean label bakery, restaurant, and home use. Try this versatile powdered mix to make sure a delicious, creamy, delicious dessert with rich custard flavor is always within reach.
Directions for classic Crème Brûlée:
- 8 oz. (226g) Base Mix Powder
- 1 qt. (907g) Half & Half
- 1 qt. (907g) Heavy Cream
Mix the Crème Brulee powder with 1/2 quart of half and half. In pan combine the other 1/2 of the half & half and heavy cream. Bring to a boil. Whisk the powder mixture into the hot liquid. (It is important to add the powder while keeping the liquid on the heat). Return to a boil for a minute, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for a minimum of two (2) hours. The mixture will set while cooling. Yields approximately 8 servings.
