This GF Pizza Crust Mix is delicious and safe for use with special diets. The simple, easy to prepare mix contains none of the top 9 food allergens, making it ideal for creating homemade or commercial doughs. The easy to make mix is seasoned with real herbs and spices for authentic Italian flavor. Fast and simple preparation requires only oil and water. No kneading is required to make a crispy, flavorful pizza crust seasoned with classic Italian herbs and spices.
Ingredients: Brown Rice Flour, Tapioca Starch, Arrowroot Powder, Cream of Tartar, Xanthan Gum, Salt, Leavening (Sodium Bicarbonate), Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano, Citric Acid, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Parsley, Sage, Marjoram.
BASIC PREPARATION: For each large crust use:
- 12 oz. Herb Pizza Dough Mix
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1-1/4 cups water
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Place oven rack at lowest position. Spray a large pizza pan with non-stick spray.
- Combine 12 oz. Herb Pizza Dough Mix with 1 teaspoon oil and 1-1/4 cups water.
- Beat with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Batter will be the consistency of cake batter.
- Scrape batter onto pizza pan and spread with spatula. It is very important to spread batter to at least 14" wide and no more than 1/4" thick. Use less batter if necessary.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes on lowest rack.
- Pull the crust out, add sauce and desired toppings, then bake an additional 10-15 minutes. For crispier crust, flip crust before adding sauce and toppings.
